Precision, Progress, and Purpose: PCB Power’s Outlook for 2026-27

PCB Power

A message from our COO, Khushal Panchal

As we begin the FY 2026-27, I want to take a moment to reflect on the year gone by — the progress we made, the trust our customers placed in us, and the direction we are charting for the months ahead.

2025-26 was a year of meaningful transformation at PCB Power. We grew not just in volume, but in depth — expanding our capabilities, strengthening our processes, and cementing our position as a trusted EMS partner for customers across India and beyond.

From PCB supplier to EMS partner

The most significant shift we witnessed last year was in how our customers began to see us. Increasingly, they came to us not just for PCB fabrication, but for the end to end PCB solutions — assembly, component sourcing, and testing. That trust is something we do not take lightly, and it shaped almost every investment we made through the year.

We saw strong growth in order volumes and active customer numbers, with several new industry players joining the PCB Power journey for the first time.

Raising the bar in PCB manufacturing

Flex and Rogers-FR4 Hybrid PCBs had a growing demand, and we responded by integrating laser cutting technology for flex coverlays and laminates — delivering better precision and faster turnaround for flexible circuit requirements.

To back our quality commitments, we made two significant infrastructure investments:

Dedicated QA lab — equipped with a Vision Measuring Machine, Pull-Peel tester, and specialised setups for ICR (Interconnection Resistance), IR (Insulation Resistance), and DWV (Dielectric Withstand Voltage) testing

Horizontal Direct Metallization line — running on PLC-SCADA, bringing greater stability and consistency to our plating-through-hole process

Growing with you in PCBA

Our assembly business saw some of its strongest momentum yet. Customers began trusting us with complete turnkey builds, and we invested accordingly.

Key highlights from the year include:

  • Addition of a second wave soldering machine, enabling lead-free and leaded orders to run simultaneously
  • Launch of 1-day lead time for PCB assembly orders — built for engineers who cannot afford to wait
  • Semi-automatic PCB cleaning and enhanced conformal coating capabilities
  • No-MOQ policy that continues to make us the go-to partner for proto and mid-volume needs

We also launched the PowerBOM Tool — a smart BOM management tool. Customers can upload their BOM, identify part availability, explore alter natives, and receive cost estimates- all in one place. For teams managing tight proto cycles or frequent design iterations, this has meaningfully reduced the back-and-forth that typically slows down the quoting process. The response from customers has been very encouraging.

Our focus for 2026-27

We are entering this year with a clear theme: efficiency, and resilience. Global supply chains remain unpredictable, and our answer is to build stronger from within. Our horizontal process lines are being migrated to IoT-enabled, smart manufacturing systems — allowing real-time remote monitoring, simplified operator control, and meaningful gains in energy efficiency and yield consistency.

Beyond that, here is what we are working toward:

  • Plasma-Etch technology — to serve critical RF requirements and improve multilayer board quality with reduced lead times
  • Selective soldering — being evaluated to automate complex board assembly and improve solder reliability
  • New ERP system — bringing supply chain, production, and quality data under one roof for faster, smarter decisions
  • Integrated instant quoting — combining PCB, component, and assembly pricing into a single, real-time experience for our customers
  • Expanded micro-sectioning capacity — supporting deeper quality analysis and continuous improvement
  • DRC & DFM bridging tools — we are working toward introducing integrated design review tools on our portal that will close the gap between Design Rule Check and Design for Manufacturability, helping customers catch and resolve issues earlier in the cycle — before they reach the factory floor

A word on what drives us

Beyond the technology and the numbers, what motivates us is something simpler: building better products in India, efficiently and responsibly. Every process improvement, every automation initiative, and every new capability we add is a small contribution toward a more self-reliant electronics manufacturing ecosystem.

We are grateful to every customer, partner, and team member who made 2025-26 what it was. The foundation is strong, and we are excited about what we build on it together.

Here is to a productive and purposeful new year.
